Did I get your attention?…lol…sometimes I try to be like a real blogger. It wasn’t long ago when I finally asked my daughter what ‘SMH’ meant (I don’t text if I can avoid it.)

We lost ‘the Donald’…
The last Monday in May…
On behalf of myself and my fellow veterans, I want to say how appreciative we are that our service is recognized favorably. There have been times in our nation’s history when this was not the case as a general rule. It is a good environment to be a veteran nowadays. On Memorial Day weekend, everyone […]
Fox Company
The last few years has seen a gathering happen. Not the Highlander kinda gathering but…well, maybe kinda…lol Thanks to facebook, I have come back into contact with Marines that I served with years ago. We had our first ‘reunion’ in the Fall of 2013. I think six of us got together with a few wives […]

When reading about a particular event in scripture, I try to put myself right in middle of the event. If I can do this, […]
Hall of Faith Nominee? Part 1
Hebrews 11 is what is referred to as the ‘Hall of Faith’. To be sure, it is a great list and even comes with a disclaimer that it is not an ‘all-inclusive’ list. I would like to make a nomination to be added to the ‘Hall of Faith’.
Adventures
Kori Yates…she’s an adventurer. She’s not the Romancing the Stone kinda adventurer, but she is definitely an adventurer. Adventures are a subjective thing. Me? An adventure might be going to Walmart in the middle of the night.
