Ok…I have stepped off into the shallow end. I can’t afford to dive off into the deep end right now…lol. Anyone who knows me at all knows I am a Marine. Once upon a time, I spent ALOT of time with this rifle platform. But boy have they changed. I was never really overly impressed […]

Righteous Rage?
I am a history buff. World War Two history in particular. I have read books and studied, with great interest, most everything I could get my hands on about this war. I saw the black and white photos of the death camps. I would look at them in disbelief that human beings could perpetrate such […]
I am NOT a homophobe…
Well, it all depends on the dictionary you use I guess. My last blog post was about word use in our society…I guess this is just a continuation.

Veterans get the hookup!
My wife surprised me a while back. I had made comments about how it would be neat to have Marine Corps license plates on my truck. ‘Vanity’ plates are not cheap in Texas. The ones my wife wants have the three crosses where the Marine Corps seal is on the example below…but they cost more […]
Adventures
Kori Yates…she’s an adventurer. She’s not the Romancing the Stone kinda adventurer, but she is definitely an adventurer. Adventures are a subjective thing. Me? An adventure might be going to Walmart in the middle of the night.
